the British Isles as far north as eastern Ross and Cromarty.

Ox-eye daisy and yarrow.
Lifestage data
Root feeder. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva lives and feeds in roots and
rootstock, when nearly full grown it forms a web around the root and
feeds within on the root surface. Pupates in a silken cocoon in larval
